Lacquer Design founder Emily van der Linde has long been fascinated with design, art, and interior spaces. Emily previously managed a global interior designer training program at Gensler, the world’s largest architecture and design firm. Her career has taken her to the Smithsonian Institution and several of America’s most prominent business schools. She founded Lacquer as a multifaceted design studio in 2016, and relaunched the business in 2021 to focus solely on interior design. Emily has an MBA from the University of Tampa and a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from the University of Florida. She currently resides in Pensacola, Florida with her husband and three children.
